Secluded Mountain Cabin w/view - Half mile to town

This is a clean and comfortable house in a great location. The kitchen had the tools we needed to cook simple meals and the house is so close to downtown Boone that it was easy to get to restaurants. There is a large central gathering area and huge porch, but each bedroom was quiet and we had plenty of space to spread out. Beds are comfortable.

I celebrated my birthday at Tyler’s house and it was an amazing experience. The surroundings were peaceful and you didn’t feel like you were a half mile from King St. We were able to relax in the hot tub, by the fire pit and on the deck, which had ample fans. Would definitely book again!!

Beautiful home that exceeded our expectations. We had several family members stay for my son’s wedding party. We felt like we were so far away from town, but really only a mile to King Street. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to entertain and cook a meal. We will definitely look to stay here again for our future visits!

We stayed the weekend here to celebrate my husbands 45th birthday. The location of the cabin couldn’t have been any better. It’s secluded but right around the corner from downtown. Listening to the creek from the cabin when you are outside is so relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. We had a small issue with one of the tvs and the owners were very responsive and proactive. It is a gorgeous home with all the things you need for a great stay. I rarely go anywhere and sleep in a bed and my back not hurt the next day but these beds were great! Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. Woudl definitely recommend and would definitely consider staying here again.

This was a great rental for our group of nine! Comfortable beds , great location, beautiful house with lots of fun things to do! Loved being close to town but on a quiet street that was very relaxing. We loved this place and the host was super helpful and friendly.

It was amazing. Tyler has been awesome to deal with. He was always fast to respond & answer questions. Definitely recommend this rental & Tyler. Great spot to visit our app state student. Close to downtown but very private. Well equipped space, comfy beds. Tyler was very responsive - great host!

Firstly, Tyler was a kind host that was very descriptive, friendly, and helpful. Myself and 3 of my coworkers spent a week at the cabin and none of us really wanted to leave. It was a beautiful place with so much to offer inside and out. It was well kept in terms of cleanliness and Tyler also provided us with practically everything within the house. The kitchen was stocked with gadgets, pots and pans, etc. There was plenty of activities throughout the property as well! Tyler left brief yet helpful instructions on how to get to the cabin, it just was a touch difficult to find due to the fact it was dark upon our arrival! Nonetheless all 4 of us have absolutely any complaints and I would love to get back to the cabin sooner than later!

We had a great and wonderful weekend at Tyler’s mountain house! The house is very close to downtown Boone but also far enough away for peace and quiet. The house was big enough for 4 couples with plenty of room to spread out. The beds were very comfortable with soft linens and pillows. Bathroom was nice, big closets and storage area. The kitchen had all the basics and more. Grill worked great, the dining table fit us all perfectly. Hot tub was hot and ready-for-use when we arrived. We spent a lot of mornings on the porch. In summary, the house was amazing and made for the perfect long weekend. The house has a lot of natural light and it was clean/spotless. The house has everything you needed for a long week and more. Tyler and Natalie were great host! They were flexible in check in and check out times. Thanks again for letting us rent your beautiful home! We hope to be back!

Beautiful home with all the amenities you’d want or need. Tyler was responsive and flexible with our checkout time to accommodate my son’s nap schedule. The home is conveniently located to downtown Boone; however, the property is at the top of a very steep hill so it’s less walkable than advertised. This wasn’t a significant drawback though because the home truly was spectacular and comfortable, but it would be something I’d consider if booking in the winter. It felt like a secluded mountain getaway with the convenience of quickly being able to get into town. I would stay here again.

Tyler’s home was absolutely beautiful. The space was peaceful and felt as though we were deep in the mountains, however we were just a half a mile from downtown Boone. It was absolutely incredible during our day. Hurricane Helene hit and Tyler was so responsive and working with us to make sure that everyone was safe and sound and taken care of.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Everything was simply gorgeous. Tyler was so helpful when we needed to arrive a day early due to hurricane in our area and being able to safely drive. The location is absolutely gorgeous! 10/10 recommend

Beautiful and spacious home with accommodations for 8 easily if needed. We only had 4 but had 4 friends for dinner and the wonderful firepit. This house is fantastic. While on the pricey side for one family splitting the costs across 3 or even four couples would be ideal. We enjoyed the large dining table, we cooked dinner on the grill 3 of five nights, made breakfast and lunch everyday. This is a mountain home. There are bugs and flying critters all over the porch which is beautiful. The inside is pristine. A leaf blower and a cobweb cleaner would have been great. Getting up the hill in the winter would be challenging but in the warmer months it’s no problem and if you like getting your steps in, it’s a great walk down town—and the walk back makes a great hike which we did with our dog every day. They did have chemicals available for the hot tub (I have one and am stickler for clean water) and they had a nice portable vacuum which came in handy. Great kitchen. Will def be back soon.

Beautiful place to stay close to Boone but you feel far away in the wooded landscape. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cabin! Gorgeous spot for our whole family to gather, relax and celebrate our daughter's graduation from Appalachian State. The location is quiet and private. The home is spacious, clean and comfortable--equipped with everything needed. The porch with a view of the stream and the hot-tub are definite highlights. We didn't have time to use the firepit, but it will be a great bonus gathering spot for our return trips. It was an easy walk downhill to King Street to shops & restaurants and a little bit further walk to walk to campus. The uphill return is a workout if you have the time, it's great to walk it! Thank you Tyler for making our celebration and visit magical!

A fantastic place to stay with all the necessary amenities. We've stayed in a lot of rentals close to Boone and this is by far the nicest house that is super close to campus.

This way a great little get away! We had some mountain views but we were also very close to everything. A skip and a hop away from downtown. We were able to have food delivered without any problems. Hot tub was amazing, comfy beds, open kitchen and living area. Beautiful home which made beautiful memories. ♡

Absolutely incredible place. Great amenities. Kids loved the mini arcade. We loved the quietness but yet very easy quick trip to Down town.

The cabin is perfect. Brand new and beautiful. Great location, close to everything. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Boone.

I would like to start by saying that it was an absolute pleasure to be the first family to visit Tyler’s cabin! The property was absolutely gorgeous and a home away from home! My family and I were very happy with everything about it (location, view, style, cleanliness and much more!) . Located near town with so many nice restaurants and cute shops , so many things to do. 100% Hands down one of a kind property. We will definitely be back soon god willing.
